Executive Chef Joe Sokoloff has trained under some of the best chefs in Western Canada. As a Chef de Partie at both West in Vancouver under Chef David Gunawan and Chef Quang Dang and Quail’s Gate Winery in Okanagan Valley. Upon his return to Calgary, Joe acquired leadership positions in the critically acclaimed kitchens of Muse Restaurant, The Living Room, and Bridgette Bar, to eventually open Lulu Bar as Chef de Cuisine in the spring of 2019.
Lulu Bar’s cuisine is a tribute to the Pacific Ocean and many of the regions that touch it, with influences from Asia to Hawaii, California to British Columbia. Lulu’s fun, light, and refreshing drink menu is equally well-travelled.
