Get ready to experience Newfoundland’s most iconic ingredient like never before!
At Cod Wars, six of the province’s top chefs go head-to-head in an epic culinary showdown, each crafting their ultimate cod creation. You’ll sample them all, sipping delicious local beers, wines, and cocktails, as you cast your vote to help crown this year’s Cod King or Queen.
The evening kicks off with a warm welcome reception. Enjoy a handcrafted cocktail made with local ingredients and a selection of small bites before diving into the action. As you explore the park, the sounds of live local music will set the stage for an unforgettable night.
Then, it’s game time. Watch as the chefs put the final touches on their dishes before the battle begins! Visit each station, savouring each chef's unique expression of Newfoundland's cod culture, and don’t forget to stop by the wine station for perfectly paired sips.
