The Forage has quickly become a beloved part of the Roots weekend.
​
Led by local forager Shawn Dawson alongside Chef Nick van Mele, this immersive experience takes you into the landscapes around Elliston to discover the wild ingredients growing all around us. Shawn shares his incredible knowledge of local plants, sustainable harvesting, and the stories behind what grows here. Gather to an incredible charcuterie-style spread prepared by Nick, showcasing these locally foraged ingredients through preserves, pickles and jams, paired with local meats and cheeses.
