The guided Foraging Experience returns to Roots, Rants & Roars 2026 — and this year, we’re offering two chances to forage, led by local expert Shawn Dawson alongside Chef Nick Van Mele.

Registration — 1:00 p.m.
Meet at the entrance of Elliston Municipal Park
The Forage — 1:30 p.m.
Explore the rugged coastline and lush landscapes and learn to identify and harvest Newfoundland’s wild
ingredients.
The Forage Tasting — 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Multi-course foraged tasting in the park.
Friday Forage - September 18th
Registration — 10:00 a.m.
