Katie Mullaley-Walters' culinary journey spans an impressive 19 years, marked by her diverse roles in the hospitality industry. From the intricate demands of managing cafés and food trucks, to the vibrant energy of being the Head Chef for a Social Enterprise, Katie has honed her craft in a variety of settings.
Her culinary expertise extends to some of Canada's most celebrated fine dining establishments, including Atlantica and Raymond's in Newfoundland and Labrador, and Jamie Kennedy’s Kitchens in Ontario.
Currently, Katie holds the position of Senior Sous Chef at The Merchant Tavern on Water Street in St. John’s.
This will be Katie's second year at Roots, Rants & Roars along with her husband, Nick Walters of The Merchant Tavern. This year they will be bringing their combined culinary talents to a course at The Feast.
